The first episode of the Ukrainian comedy series "Budynochok na shchastya" ("A Little House for Happiness"), released in 2018, introduces Maksym (Konstantin Voytenko), a young Kyiv resident dissatisfied with his bank job and longing for rural life. Following an unexpected dismissal, Maksym sees an opportunity to pursue his dream of starting an ostrich farm, aided by an inheritance of a small house in the village of Senkivka from his grandmother. His wife, Masha (Halina Bezruk), who prioritizes leisure and their dog, strongly opposes the move to the countryside.

Maksym needs three million to purchase the farm equipment immediately. His only potential source of funding is his affluent parents. To secure their financial support, Maksym makes a bet with his mother: if he can stay mounted on an ostrich during a race longer than she can, the family will finance his agricultural business venture. The series consists of 16 episodes and is directed by Serhiy Atroshchenko.
