📝 Description
The first episode of the eight-part detective series "Chikatilo," which focuses on the pursuit of the notorious Soviet serial killer. The narrative is based on real historical events occurring in the Rostov region, where numerous new victims are discovered in parks and forested areas despite local law enforcement efforts. To aid the investigation, a team from Moscow is dispatched, led by experienced investigator Timur Kesaev (Konstantin Lavronenko), accompanied by the younger, less experienced Captain Vitaly Vitvitsky (Dmitry Vlaskin), a specialist in psychological profiling of criminals. This initial installment sets up the challenging task facing the capital's investigators as they attempt to trace the Rostov killer after years of failed local manhunts, all while local authorities show reluctance toward the arrival of the metropolitan team.
