📝 Description
Official trailer for the 2020 series "Sheker." The premise is set in modern-day Almaty, where Aldiyar, a second-year university student, faces expulsion. To avoid being kicked out, he must quickly raise a significant amount of money for reinstatement. Fearing his strict father's reaction, Aldiyar secures employment as a courier for a synthetic drug operation.
Aldiyar becomes successful in distributing narcotics and becomes immersed in this new lifestyle, momentarily forgetting his original goal. As his wealth grows, he attracts the attention of both his dream girl and a corrupt police officer. The series premiered on October 20, 2020, and features Azat Zhumadil, Madina Kakimseitova, Sharip Serik (Shakenti), and Ansar Ilyasov in the main roles.
