The short segment is drawn from the 2015 alternative Western film, *Slowpoke*, which received recognition at the Sundance Film Festival. The narrative centers on Jay, an aristocratic youth traveling to the American West during the late 19th century in pursuit of his exiled lover, Rose. Unbeknownst to Jay, Rose and her father face a bounty following the accidental killing of Jay's uncle, a fact known by Silas, a wanderer accompanying Jay under the pretense of protection, but who secretly intends to claim the reward money.

As the pair traverse the dangerous wilderness, they are tracked by bounty hunters. Silas begins to be affected by Jay's innocent nature during their journey. The film culminates in a confrontation at Rose's residence where, during a chaotic engagement, Jay is inadvertently killed by the visually impaired Rose. Silas subsequently opts to save Rose, abandoning the bounty pursuit to settle with her and her dependent.
