📝 Description
The Asian World Film Festival (AWFF), currently in its third year, aims to increase recognition for filmmakers from Asia and foster stronger connections between the Asian and Hollywood film industries by presenting a diverse selection of Asian World cinema in Los Angeles. The festival unites cultures through cross-collaboration, championing films originating from over 50 Asian countries, ranging geographically from Turkey to Japan and Russia to India.
Actor Ken Leung offers his support to the festival. Leung is an award-winning New York actor known for roles such as Miles Straume in the television series *Lost*, Admiral Statura in *Star Wars: The Force Awakens*, Detective Stephen Sing in *Saw*, and Kid Omega in *X-Men: The Last Stand*. He also won a Breakout Performance award at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival for the film *Shanghai Kiss*.
