High-definition video footage captures impressions from the opening ceremony of the Stage Theater an der Elbe in Hamburg. The theater was specifically constructed for the debut of the musical production, "Das Wunder von Bern" (The Miracle of Bern). The event took place on Monday, November 10, 2014, featuring a spectacular opening show with professional light, laser, and fireworks displays.
Approximately 1,200 invited guests attended the outdoor ceremony staged on the Elbe riverbank opposite the new venue, near the museum ship Cap San Diego. Following the spectacle, attendees were shuttled via ferry across the river to attend the first preview performance of the musical. "Das Wunder von Bern" was scheduled for its official premiere later that same month.
