TANKER CRISIS: Chechen Commander Apti Alaudinov Signals Imminent Russian Response

Apti Alaudinov, a senior commander of Russia’s Chechen-based Akhmat special forces, issued a video message regarding recent geopolitical tensions. Alaudinov accused U.S. President Donald Trump of being a primary source of conflict and stated that Russia would soon respond to the seizure of a Russian-linked tanker. The commander also alleged that the United States was involved in a covert operation aimed at regime change in Venezuela and suggested internal betrayal surrounding President Nicolás Maduro, claims which lack independent verification.

Alaudinov characterized the current situation as an ideological and religious struggle, expressing full support for decisions made by Russia’s Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
