📝 Description

The universe contains stars significantly larger than the Sun, which, by comparison, appears modest in scale. Among the largest celestial bodies identified by astronomers is the star UY Scuti. Located approximately 5,100 light-years away in the constellation Scutum, UY Scuti is distinguished by its immense size.

The Sun has a diameter of roughly 1.39 million kilometers. In contrast, UY Scuti possesses a diameter estimated at 2.3 billion kilometers. This dimension places its size at nearly 45 to 50 times that of the Sun, and approximately 210 million times the diameter of Earth. Hypothetically, if UY Scuti were positioned at the center of our solar system, its outer boundary would extend near the orbit of Saturn, encompassing all planets residing within that range.
