OFFICIAL TRAILER GOLOK - LANANG WANTEN presents a forthcoming regional film from Cilegon City, produced by Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kota Cilegon and Kremov Pictures. The film was scheduled for release in October 2017 at XXI Cilegon.
The plot centers on Somad, whose romantic relationship with Syarifah is rejected by her parents. Somad is further provoked by jealousy when he learns Syarifah is close to his peer, Nurdi. To prove his bravery, Somad challenges Nurdi to a fight in the rice fields. Somad possesses a precious heirloom, a golok (machete) inherited from his father. The conflict escalates when Somad attends Nurdi and Syarifah's wedding, bringing the ancestral weapon and brutally attacking Nurdi.
