The initial concept, developed in 2020, involved a 16-minute reel centered on a young Scottish woman, Effie Dwyer, who learns she is destined to become the Champion of Scotland, tasked with defending the nation against corrupted fairytale creatures and an encroaching dark evil.

This segment serves as a promotional piece for a forthcoming feature film set in the same universe, now titled "Call of the Laoich," which is planned as an 18th Century production. The teaser itself was independently crowdfunded during a period of lockdown and was entirely created using visual effects (VFX), complemented by professional music and voice-over artists. The creators are also sharing behind-the-scenes documentation covering their original pre-production and filming progress for context.
