Remains — Act I is a live cinematic performance piece that explores themes of memory, decay, and repetition through a continuous structure without distinct tracks or sections. The work integrates piano performance with tape echoes, various field recordings, and vocal elements. The composition emphasizes a slow unfolding process of appearance, change, and eventual disappearance.

Instrumentation features piano, Buchla synthesizer, and tape effects, complemented by voice acting performed by Vincenzo Fasano, delivered in Italian with available English subtitles. The material is derived from preceding works titled Story #11, Veloma, and Dawn. The performance was recorded live in Milan at the Piano Frequency Fest on March 28th, 2026.
