The tragic myth of Orpheus and Eurydice recounts the story of the legendary poet and musician Orpheus and his marriage to the nymph Eurydice, often portrayed as a perfect union. Following Eurydice's sudden death, Orpheus undertakes a perilous journey into the underworld with the goal of recovering his deceased wife. The narrative details his efforts to use his musical talents to persuade the rulers of the underworld to allow Eurydice to return to the living world.
Brendan Pelsue narrates this classical Greek tragedy, which explores themes of love, loss, and the limits of human endeavor against fate. The animation accompanying the narrative was created by Anton Bogaty, bringing the ancient story of Orpheus and his doomed attempt to reverse death to life.
