NEXT GENERATION | Rehearsal Teaser provides a glimpse into the Staatsballett Berlin's initiative designed to offer their dancers space and structure to develop and create original choreographies. This program aims to foster the exploration of individual choreographic styles among emerging artists. The resulting short works serve as experiments reflecting the personal interests and current discourses influencing the next generation of ballet performers.

The featured choreographies engage with diverse sources, ranging from established dance material and personal narratives to literary foundations and contemporary societal discussions. These varied pieces are premiered in the Tischlerei venue at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The teaser footage showcases the rehearsal process for pieces created by choreographers including Gustavo Chalub, Aurora Dickie, Grégoire Duchevet, and Leroy Mokgatle, among others.
