📝 Description
Academic launch proceedings for a new Database on the Impact of the UN Human Rights Treaties at the Domestic Level. This resource compiles raw evidentiary data compiled from academic studies initiated in 2002 and updated in 2022. The database currently covers twenty countries, with an objective to eventually include data from all United Nations Member States concerning the implementation and effect of international human rights treaties.
The event serves as the initial public presentation of this research tool, which is designed to facilitate further academic analysis regarding the tangible effects of the UN human rights treaty system since its establishment. Contributions from global academics are sought to expand the scope and depth of the data within the resource.
