The first episode of the third season of the serial "Svaty" (Сваты 3). In this installment, Yuri Anatolievich forgets to notify the family about an upcoming visit. Meanwhile, Grandfather Yura is shown actively sourcing food, and Olga Nikolaevna causes an incident by overloading the Budko's barn structure.

Season three follows the setup where Zhenya's parents depart not for a vacation, but for an extended work assignment in Holland, rather than Italy. This requires Zhenya to spend the summer in Kuchugury at the rural home of her grandparents, Ivan and Valentina. The Kovalenko family arrives shortly thereafter under the pretext of visiting in-laws and preparing Zhenya for lyceum entrance exams. The ensuing month introduces the refined Kovalovs to village life, where they meet the distinctive character Mityai and become acquainted with the openness of the rural residents.
